Every Merit Logistics receipt is digitally signed using our private certificate. This creates a cryptographic seal that proves the receipt came from us and hasn't been modified.
When you upload a receipt, our system verifies the signature using our certificate authority. You don't need to install any certificates - we handle all verification securely on our end.
If anyone modifies the receipt (changing amounts, dates, or any content), the signature becomes invalid. This makes it impossible to alter receipts without detection.
If you want to verify receipts directly in Adobe Acrobat without "unverified" warnings, you can install our root certificate. This is completely optional - our web verification above is always available and works without any setup.
