Why Install Certificates?

Merit Logistics digitally signs all receipts using our own Certificate Authority (CA). While you can always verify receipts through our web portal, installing our certificates provides additional convenience:

  • Seamless PDF Verification: View receipts in Adobe Acrobat without "unverified" warnings
  • One-Click Authentication: Automatic validation without visiting the web portal
  • Receipt Authenticity: Cryptographic proof that receipts came from Merit Logistics
  • Data Integrity: Visual confirmation that receipt details are exactly as issued
📘
About Our Certificate Authority
Merit Logistics operates its own Certificate Authority to maintain direct control over receipt security. While our CA isn't recognized by default in Adobe or browsers (like public CAs such as DigiCert, Sectigo, GlobalSign, Verisign, or Comodo), our certificates provide the same level of encryption and security once installed.
